Unfortunately, The Salisbury is located on the pedestrian precinct in the town centre, so this is not possible.
It is possible to drop luggage outside Newborough, however parking outside is limited. There are plenty of car parks within a 5-minute walk.
Facilities
All of our apartments have fully-fitted kitchens with all the mod cons you’ll need including a dishwasher, iron, ironing board, fridge, washing machine with integrated dryer. You will also find Nespresso coffee machines in all of The Salisbury apartments.
Yes, we do. We will send you the username and password prior to your arrival and it can also be found in the Welcome Book in the apartment.
Yes, you can. All our apartments have Smart TV’s. You would need to access your own personal account to view these services. We also recommend you sign out of any subscription service before you vacate us.
Yes, we do. It is free of charge and will be assembled, ready to use in your apartment on arrival. You may book this through our guest communication hub. You get access to this after you have 'checked in' online .
Please note, for hygiene and safety purposes we do not provide linen or pillows for our Cot Beds. Our guests have found that by bringing their own linens and soft items that their child is accustomed to, has helped the little ones sleep better.

Sorry we cannot provide 4 single beds in a two bedroom apartment. We can only provide a double bed in the main room and either a double or twin beds in the second room.

The Salisbury and Newborough apartments are situated in the heart of Scarborough and at the centre of town and so we do not have any unobstructed sea views.

As part of your welcome pack, we provide a tea towel, sponge/pan scourer, Fairy liquid, kitchen roll, 2 x dishwasher tablets, 2 x washing machine pods and 2 spare bin bags. Each apartment is provided a dustpan and brush.

Yes, our apartments have Tresemmé hairdryers.
These are self-catering apartments. We do not provide a linen service. If you are taking an extended stay with us of over 7 days, we will arrange a mutually convenient time with you so our Housekeeping Team can refresh the apartment.
Our apartments all have large walk-in showers, they do not have baths.
All our apartments have their own independent hot water supply. They have a large 200 litre tank giving most groups more than enough hot water. However, if needed, you can always boost the hot water supply. Instructions are in the welcome book.
Bins are provided in the apartments. If you need a collection, please contact us. Our housekeeping team is usually on site between 09.30 & 15.00.

Rooms do not have air conditioning. During the summer months we will provide additional air circulation fans. We recommend that blinds are closed during the day to reduce heat in your apartment in the summer.
All rooms have wall mounted electric radiators so you can adjust the heating to your own personal preference.

We really want our guests to have a fantastic time when they visit us and understand that arranging a surprise treat for someone special can really make your stay a memorable one. We always try to accommodate any request however, as we do not have a front desk, arranging deliveries does prove tricky as we cannot guarantee we can meet a parcel delivery company.

Before we send out any access codes you must 'check in' online. We will email you with a link after you have made a booking with us.
On the morning of your arrival we will send you an email with codes to access the building and your apartment.
The first code is to enter the front door.
For guests staying at The Salisbury, once you enter the building there is a lift directly opposite the front door and stairs are to the right of the lift. The first number of your apartment number indicates what floor you are on.
The second code will give you access to the key safe by your apartment door. Enter this number and twist the dial at the top of the key safe to open it. Inside the key box are 2 keys giving you access to your apartment.
Check in/out
We can only provide early check in for our guests who have booked a Deluxe Apartment. All other check-ins are from 15.00. You can arrange to leave your luggage with;

We prefer our guests to check in by 22.00 so as not to disturb other guests in the premises. We will have provided you with access to codes to the building and your apartment prior to your arrival. If you need to check in after 22.00, please be respectful to other guests and keep noise to a minimum.

The Salisbury and Newborough is serviced accommodation. Therefore we do not have a reception desk.
You will receive notification of how to enter the building and your apartment prior to your arrival.
We intend your stay to be as hassle free as possible. Please take your time to look at our website where we have provided as much information as possible for you.
So we can deliver all our guest communications in the simplest format, we ask all guests to 'check in' after they have booked with us.
We need your email and phone number so we can directly send you the front door and apartment codes. We also want to know a few simple things such as how the bedrooms need setting, if you need extras such as cots or high chairs. Once you have 'checked in' you will get access to our 'Guest App' which has lots of information about the apartments and things you can do out and about in Scarborough.

We will send your codes to access the building and your apartment on the morning of your actual booked date.
Outside your apartment there is a small lock box with the apartment keys. You need the access code so you can open it. We will provide you with a unique code to enter into a keypad to enter the front door.

The Salisbury apartments have a lift with wheelchair access available to all 4 floors.

Local area/attractions
Scarborough station, formally Scarborough Central, is opposite the Stephen Joseph Theatre at the top of Westborough (Postcode: YO11 1TN, what3words:charmingly.foster.loops).
The train station is 500 metres away from The Salisbury and Newborough apartments on foot, or a quick taxi ride away. However, The Salisbury on Huntriss Row is on a pedestrianised precinct and therefore you will need to take a short walk once dropped by car near the property.
Scarborough Spa is about 700 metres away and is easily reached on foot or by car.
The South Bay is about 400 metres away and can be easily accessed on foot or via the tram near St Nicholas Gardens.
The Open Air Theatre is 1.8km (1.1 miles) away. It takes approximately 25 minutes to walk.
The Stephen Joseph Theatre is opposite Scarborough TRain station and is about 500 metres away.
Scarborough Harbour is at the far end of the South Bay and is about 800 metres away. It is easily accessed on foot or by car.
On foot it is 3.1km (1.9 miles), however you may wish to take the Open Top bus around the seafront.
